Obama gagnera le vote de la communauté juive (Debbie Wasserman Schultz)

Espoir démesuré?

"Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, predicted Thursday President Barack Obama would win the Jewish vote and her home state of Florida in the 2012 election.
The Florida congresswoman pushed back against the claim that Democrats lost the recent special election in New York's heavily Jewish 9th district because Jewish voters are disenchanted with the president's Middle East policy.

"The natural home for Jewish voters, both domestically in terms of policy and our Israel policy, is the Democratic Party and President Obama as our candidate," Schultz said on Fox News.
Some on both sides of the aisle have suggested Obama's popularity is slipping among Jewish voters because of the election and declining poll numbers among the constituency nationally and in New York.
But Wasserman Schultz, a Jewish member of Congress, praised the president's speech Wednesday before the United Nations General Assembly as another example of Obama's support for America's Democratic ally.
"Overwhelmingly Jewish voters support President Obama and his policies," Schultz said. "And the Israeli leadership consistently, before yesterday and including yesterday, have said that President Obama has been an unshakable ally of Israel."
She also said the president will capture the Sunshine State, as he did in 2008, because of his economic plans and what she said are the more radical factions of the Republican Party."
