Pourquoi le sous-marin HL Hunley a-t-il coulé pendant la guerre de Sécession?

Bien des amateurs d'histoire ignorent toujours que des sous-marins furent utilisés pendant la guerre de Sécession. Le Hunley fut le premier a coulé un navire ennemi et il dévoile aujourd'hui de nouveaux secrets.

 Was the loss of the Hunley the result of the torpedo's detonation? An unsecured hatch? Or perhaps a lucky enemy shot that blasted a hole in the Confederate vessel's viewing port?
